Meet the passionate people that make up the core team of Vegan Masters:
Danny
I have been active in the pizza industry for over 30 years. About 10 years ago I became a vegetarian, and in 2018, after watching the documentary Cowspiracy, it was a no-brainer for me to go vegan. But I didn’t just want to leave it at that, which got me to me thinking “What can I do more?”.
Driven by environmental awareness and my concerns for animal welfare and health, I have challenged myself and the people around me to create the most heavenly vegan convenience food possible. This was the start of the Vegan Masters concept. I challenged vegan chefs to come up with the best vegan recipes and to become our Masters. This led to not only vegan pizzas but over 30 different meals and products to make a vegan diet easier.
Kirsten
My step kids and I are flexitarians. This lifestyle and diet challenges us every day. It’s not easy for a vegan or a flexitarian to find a quick and easy snack or meal. This is the reason why I started the research with Danny that eventually led to our mission to veganize mainstream convenience food with a unique sales distribution network and concept.
Our goal was to put together a complete range of high-quality convenience food that would be loved and enjoyed by both vegans and non-vegans. We strongly believe in the idea that people should be rewarded for making the vegan choice.
Yolanda
Yolanda has been an international top chef for over 17 years. She has worked for many Michelin star restaurants and with famous chefs like Jamie Oliver. Her involvement with Vegan Masters stems from her desire to veganize the world. To make this a reality, over the last few years she has been building bridges between production companies and retail chains where she was responsible for product development. Yolanda has also written and published several cookbooks.

Cees
Cees was one of the co-founders and owners of AWI Vers Center, a Dutch company specialized in the production sales and distribution of ultra fresh foods. He is an expert in HACCP and BRC Food codes, and has a lot of experience in setting up both large scale kitchens for foodservice and retail, as well as smaller scale kitchens. He will use his expertise in ergonomics and food safety to help Vegan Masters design and scale up their production facilities.
Chris
Chris is very aware of human impact on our environment and does his best to reduce his environmental footprint where he can. He was already not eating beef, but after starting work for Vegan Masters he has decided to be a conscious flexitarian. He is responsible for developing and maintaining the Vegan Masters’ corporate identity, designing the logos, packaging, and other materials that determine the look and feel of the Vegan Masters brand.
Nikki
I am very passionate about helping to veganize the world!
I’m completely in love with nature, specially the ocean as I am a kitesurfer. I was never in to eating meat that much, mostly because of the killing of animals. One day on the beach a friend who is vegan explained to me that there is so much more about being vegan and about all the harm we do to the world by our meat and dairy consumption. When I started looking into this I couldn’t un-see the facts anymore. After watching some documentaries, I became fully convinced to start living a more conscious life!
